I wonder if Smith had heard some rumblings about Usc and ucla joining the big ten ? Out of the two conferences Big 12 and pac 12. I think the big 12 survives and pac 12 probably dies or is sufficiently Diminished.

Michigan falls at Msu 3-2 in 10 innings. Now 24-22 and (10-6) in conference.
