Miggy quietly chasing the Triple Crown

Trout batting only .278 so far this month, lets hope it continues this way for the next two months.

Dunn is 4 for his last 35, he is slumping hard. If Miggy keeps on his current pace he will have the HR lead very soon.

I disagree with that. He is on pace to have career highs in HR, Hits, and RBI. The only place he is down is walks/OBP. If he continues to post the numbers he has post allstar break, this will be by far his best season.

Sure, going by triple crown stats.

But those aren't the best measures of offensive efficiency.

Cabrera is on pace to top 200 H, 40 HR and 140 RBI -- Miguel would be first Tigers player to reach those numbers since Hank Greenberg in 1937.

Since Greenberg, only Helton ('00), Castilla ('98), Belle ('98), Vaughn ('96), and Al Rosen ('53) have reached 200, 40, 140 in a season.

So predicting him to get 38 is much different from him hitting 40? Lol If he can get to 38 it's not unreasonable to think he could hit 40. Now 45 would be unreasonable.
