Old MSU Rosters

Is there any place online you can find old rosters from years gone by?

I know a guy who was on MSU's team as a true freshman (redshirted) in 1988-89 I believe. That was the team that lost to Georgia in the Gator Bowl which was Vince Dooley's last game I think.

I don't think my friend ever saw the field or earned a letter but I'd like to peruse that whole roster with him. He may have only been at MSU a couple years.

I seem to recall seeing archives of media guides (on the official Spartan site I believe) but don't know if they go that far back.

Every year the media guide includes a ton of old information. There is even a list of all-time letter winners listed alphabetically by last name. But there is not a year by year roster included.

That's right but there are also old media guides on the site in the "Archives" section but looks like they only go back to 2002.
