It?s the second year that A. J. Hinch is managing along with his hand-picked coaches. The Player Development department has been broomed and new employees from top organizations have replaced them.

Chris Ilitch has opened his wallet and the Tigers were one of the top teams in spending for multiple new players this year. Several who were signed to multi-year contracts.

The lockout is over and Covid issues are waning.

The tear down is over. The rebuild is nearing completion.
