Preseason Game 1: Falcons @ Lions Thread

Blough looked better then Boyle but you just can't fumble trying to close a game out. He took his eye off the ball. Can't happen in the NFL. Just not sure about the back up qb's. 2 minute drill looked great in practice just not in the exhibition game.

I do like what Campbell said after the in the locker room after the loss to Atlanta.

Way less starters are going to play in this next preseason game

Keep them healthy. Already too many PUP or banged up guys

We don?t have enough NFL starters especially on D to even think this way.

Dline we do across the board with Hutch, Harris, Romeo, McNeil. Brockers started for his whole career. Walker and AO (as 2nd CB) would start on many teams. Okudah if he was drafted in Round 1 on many teams, which he would have been given his prospect status would also be a starter. Elliot was a starter for the Ravens too

So basically just the nickel CB (though Hughes has started for KC and MIN) and LBs (Anzalone started when healthy for the Saints though as a 2nd rounder). And then rolling the dice with Barnes/Rodriguez now

We may have one quality starter w Hutch. The rest would struggle to be starters anywhere else.
