TV Schedule:
WJBK (FOX/2 - Detroit)
WNEM (CBS/5 - Saginaw)
WSYM (FOX/47 - Lansing)
WXMI (FOX/17 - Grand Rapids)
WUPW (FOX/36 - Toledo OH)
WJMN (CBS/3 - Escanaba MI)

Interesting Fact: This match-up includes two of the top 5 best preseason teams since 2008. Lions have the best preseason record, Redskins are #5. You could call this the preseason Super Bowl. I'm sure you will be glued to your TV set.

If Lions win today that will increase their preseason win % to an even 80% since 2008. Next highest would be the Ravens and Seahawks at 69%. Indy is the worst at 23.3%

That is such a weird stat. Lion starters have never played more than any other teams, IMO, over that time frame.

Our 2's and 3's don't ever seem to be any better than other teams.

The guys we cut don't make any impact of other rosters......so it's not like the Lions are having to cut good players year after year that would have lead to those preseason W's.

It just has to be the fact that we play the Cleveland's, Buffalo's and Jets of the world.......teams that don't have much talent over that same time period, either. I can't explain that win%!!!

We beat New England in 2011 and 2013 in the 3rd pre-season game (the one most like real games). Beat Indy in 2009

great! They can beat playoff teams in the pre season but not the post season!

They beat Dallas as far as everyone on the planet is concerned.

Saints game had some injuries to the secondary, whistle on the Durant fumble and block in the back allowed on a 4th down Sproles converted. Titus fell down on the one pick. Very close game.

In the NFL it's incredibly difficult to beat a team twice in a season. You get a good look at how they beat you the first time, and you can plan for it. It's the old adage of "You learn more from losing, than winning".

We always seem to land a team in preseason that comes back to haunt us later.

no...most people look at the score and see that Dallas and the Saints both beat the Lions. As far as most reasonable people are concerned the last playoff victory for the lions was 1/4 century ago!

Led by Erik Kramer.

Most reasonable people know the Lions got screwed.

Walker out of position on the 9 yard run but made up for it with two good pass rushes.

Defence looks like it's pickup up where it left off in the pass rush game.

I love the tempo the D forces. Austin does a great job picking the right time to bring it. Which makes the Dallas playoff game even more perplexing.

Not a horrible first drive. Oline was pretty solid. Tate looks good. Staff did a good job finding a wide open Tate, but missed a WR streaking down the sideline wide open on the same play, WR was trying to wave him down to get attention, would of been a walk in TD. Can miss those come regular season. Good news guys are getting wide open all over place.

I know its preseason game 2....but if Washington wants to keep RGIII healthy this year they need to get him the fuck off the field.

Just stupid. Actually, that one was all on RGIII......don't drop the ball and 350 lb men wont jump on you!!!

Lesson learned.

Hope he's ok.

He is made of glass if he is injured on that play. A 98 year old man would have been fine.

RG3rd trip to IR. Too bad but you could see it coming the way our blitz was getting home.

Way to go Deadskins. Get your starting QB killed in a meaningless game.
