True when a player takes a stick to the ear it'll stop really quick.
I was thinking more of protecting goalie. Svechnikov did get the goalie pretty good on his first one this year.
Skaters would be vulnerable due to the 'follow through' exemption to high sticks. Not really a concern I was thinking of but its there.
Most players should be okay as the stick has to remain below the crossbar for the goal to count. At any point if stick with puck goes above the crossbar its a challengable situation for puck being played with a high stick.
