Return to the Thunderdome (still upset they changed that name), let's hope the team actually shows up for this one.

Looks like they changed the pairings a bit.

Red Wings projected lineup

Robby Fabbri -- Dylan Larkin -- Bobby Ryan

Filip Zadina -- Vladislav Namestnikov -- Anthony Mantha

Frans Nielsen -- Valtteri Filppula -- Sam Gagner

Adam Erne -- Luke Glendening -- Darren Helm

Filip Hronek -- Patrik Nemeth

Marc Staal -- Troy Stecher

Jon Merrill -- Christian Djoos

Thomas Greiss

Calvin Pickard

Scratched: Mathias Brome, Alex Biega, Danny DeKeyser

Injured: Jonathan Bernier (upper body), Tyler Bertuzzi (upper body)

Zadina looking good getting first.

lol, Staal matrix dodged that shot to avoid the block. Instead screening Greiss to make it 1-1.

Zadina has looked good in the games he's played. At least we didn't get blasted today.

It was far more competitive when expected.

3-1 scoreline hiding that Detroit had advantage for most of the first 2 periods which is strange to say.

3rd goal empty net.

2nd goal deflected off a Wing's stick.

Zadina has been the best and most consistent player so far, granted he missed half the games with COVID.

Plus the kid bothers forechecking and actually tries to play hockey instead of wasting time like the rest of the team is instructed to do.

Too bad Blash is gonna try to coach that out of him.
