One of the great Dombrowski trades of all time.

I went to that Weaver game and, as I recall, Verlander was throwing a no hitter until all the brouhaha started.

Carlos had a flair for the dramatic. Never forget his 11th inning, GW walkoff 3 run homer in a near downpour precisely @ 3:30 am est @ CoPa in late August of '07 vs the Yankees. My most satisfying Tigers win outside of their 3x defeating NY in the recent postseasons.

The Weaver game was one of my favorites personally. I barely remember the 3:30 game...probably because it was at 3:30
