Tigers @ Red Sox, Game 116, August 11 2023

Al central scores

Boston 5 Detroit 2 Final.
Rays 9 Cleveland 8 Final (walk off homer)
Philadelphia 13 Minnesota 2 Final.
Chicago 6 Milwaukee 6 bottom 9.

Skubal just always seems to have one bad inning. Maybe next season he will get on a roll and be 17-9 or thereabouts.

SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

The Detroit Tigers have reached the last third of their season. Despite the series win against the Twins, they have been slowly falling further under .500 and in the AL Central standings.

So what will keep you focused on the remaining games?

Will it be Miguel Cabrera?s march towards immortality as he finishes his last season and keeps moving up the hits chart?

Will it be waiting to see which prospects like Parker Meadows and Justyn-Henry Malloy get called up from Toledo?

Will it be the surprise of Kerry Carpenter who has the potential of becoming one of the league?s best hitters?

Will it be Riley Greene, the hope of all fans and potentially the next face of the franchise?

Or will it be Spencer Turnbull and his return to the mound in order to build up his trade value for this winter?
Which one will you have the most interest in watching?

Who will you be most interested in watching for the rest of the season?

1. Miguel Cabrera

2. The Call-Ups

3. Kerry Carpenter

4. Riley Greene

5. Spencer Turnbull

No that's not going to make me feel better. How in the world can they play good against some teams and lay down to the east teams' game after game. Win one game with 17 hits and drown in K's the next. This team is so inconsistent.

they aren't laying down vs the teams in the east. The teams in the east are good. The teams in the central are terrible.

The Tigers are the only team not to have 5 wins against an AL division. Even Oak has 6 wins in each AL division. Yea kittens are laying down.

AS of Saturday 8-12-2023 , with an 6-2 win have fixed this. 5 wins against the east now.
