According to espn's prediction algo, tigers have a 34% chance of winnng this.

Makes sense tigers are playing the 98 yankees.

A Gregory Soto breakdown for when he walks a batter:

11 appearances (8.2 IP), 11:15 K:BB, 11 runs/9 earned runs allowed (9.34 ERA), 8.30 FIP

When he doesn't walk a batter:

21 appearances (21.2 IP), 20:0 K:BB, 1 run/0 earned runs allowed (0.00 ERA), 1.54 FIP

Most coveted Tiger reliever at deadline:
1. Chafin
2. Fulmer
3. Soto
4. Jimenez

Largest trade return:
1. Soto
2. Fulmer
3. Chafin
4. Jimenez

Same old Tiger shit.
Bases loaded no outs in the first they only score 1 freaking run.

Skubal same old shit. A few good innings and one inning does him in.

Look for the Tigers to push Michael Fulmer in a trade. He's a free agent after this year and Detroit is unlikely to re-sign him.

Fulmer is making app. $5 mill this year and with his outstanding performance, is likely to garner closer to $7- $8 mill/year going forward. He'll want a multi-year contract.

The Tigers have a zillion needs going forward and they won't want to spend that much money on a player who pitches 1 inning 5x/week. They have so many important positional holes to fill.

Matt Manning will start Sunday for Triple-A Toledo, piggybacking with Rony Garcia. He'll likely get another start or two for Mud Hens after All-Star break.

Sigh
Freaking Reyes put the damn ball in play.

looks like the hit and run were on. Greene ran, Reyes didn't hit. Strike 'em out, throw 'em out.

I don?t trust Avila. I?m sure not many people in Detroit do.

just watch...the Tigers finally get a good BP and it will turn to shit next year.

Spencer K?s with bases loaded 1 out. Another dismal at bat with runners on base.

Ump that was ball 3. Should been 3-0 and now 3-1 not 2-2 . K?s on a 3-2 pitch.

Tigers waste more chances again with bases loaded. Spencer and Baddoo swing at awful pitches to strike out.
AB is just guessing on that last pitch. Just pathetic.

I have zero idea what is going through Spencer?s head at the plate. He lets great pitches go right by.
Then swings at sliders a foot off the plate.

I'm sure a good slider looks like it is going to be a strike until is falls off of a table.
