Had to do a sleep study last night. Got to the Hospital about when Cabrera hit a hoping eye base hit. McKinstry lined one into right followed by a Baez rbi single and the Tigers fans went wild. Some new guy came to the plate and hit one of the highest balls of the night seems like it was never going to come down as the right fielder went back to the fence and just looked up, and before you knew it, the place went as wild as a barrel of baseball fans. Everyone was a jumping at home plate. You thought someone had hit a game winning homerun. I had a great night's sleep. What a story book endding.
And got up to a 4-1, T I G E R win. That Parker guy think I've start him again..

From what I have read, he is a better CF than Greene, mostly due to his speed. If it works out, it will be great for the Tigers OF because now they would have a plus defender in Center and wherever they move Greene to RF.

Manning has dealt with injuries and adversity on his Road to Detroit and his luck has not been great. He's yet to cross the 100.0 inning threshold while wearing a Tigers uniform. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get there in 2023, capping off a performance of growth.

Tigers right-hander Matt Manning is preparing to make his next start on Wednesday after exiting his last start with lower back tightness.

With that being said, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press indicated yesterday that Manning actually making his start on Wednesday is not a guarantee.

Per Petzold, manager AJ Hinch told reporters that the club will ?see how the next couple of days are? regarding Manning?s health before determining whether or not he?ll make his start.

Petzold suggests right-hander Spencer Turnbull and left-hander Joey Wentz could be options to take the ball on Wednesday should Manning, who sports a 3.93 ERA in 13 starts with the Tigers this season, require a trip to the shelf.
