Tigers vs. Cubs Game 125 August 21 2023

Baez with a 2 run double. I'm hoping now that the young kids are taking a step up it'll relax Baez and maybe he'll hit better not having to do too much

Don?t you pinch hit here ? Kelly hasn?t been close all night. Don?t get it. Unless we don?t have any lefty?s left.
Idk. Just got home recently. Been listening on the radio till now.

Shame Parker didn?t get another pitch .

Bo not very sharp sadly. Lead off double followed by a emergency swing see eye double

I?m very unsure of guys like Vasquez and Bo. At least Bo throws hard.. Not his night tonight.

Shame they couldn?t win. 2 unearned runs and not the best pen work cost the Tigers tonight.. Spencer and Carpenter had great hitting nights.

I really don?t have any clue what a strike is. This ump will say the ball crossed the plate but that just isn?t so.

Wins and losses don't mean anything at this point. Only development

I agree to a point but You have to start winning at home. Hopefully next season they can get better at winning Home games.
Tigers are 8 games under .500 at home?

They also can?t seem to win more then 2 in Row this year. Those two winning streaks came early in the season . I guess that just means we have to many holes in the hitting lineup to have any wining streaks. Idk. Scored 6 tonight so hitters did their job.
Team just can?t seem to find a winning streak. Frustrating the Pen could not have a clean 9th.

hell of a month..maybe AL player of the month.

A guy from Seattle who just won AL player of the week batting .568 with a very healthy OPS of over .1400. His monthly total so far .412 .444 .659 1.103. That's going to be tough to beat.

lol...he had 17 hits in a span of 4 games. Only 4 Tigers have more than 17 hits this month (Tork, Greene, Carpenter, & Vierling). Good old Javy Baez has 8 hits this month.
