The shame in the Candelario situation..he has literally zero value now..seems to happen to nearly every Avila asset..Jeimer's slump isn't new..its a theme in his Tigers career..now..even if he rakes for 200 AB..nobody will trust it..teams will be happy to take him for free.

Interpretation..its a move of exasperation..you don't wait this long to demote a player unless you have tried everything to get through to him..Torkelson is late and needs some swing tweaks..he's likely resisted them.. in TOL he may feel less pressure to implement changes.
