La Leyenda Episode 4: Miggy Milestones: 500 HR, 3,000 Hits, and 600 Doubles. 46 minutes.

In this episode, we delve into the latter half of Miguel Cabrera?s career in Detroit, including his chase for 500 home runs, 3,000 hits, and 600 doubles. Each milestone is impressive on its own, but only three players in MLB history have achieved all three. Relive each moment, as called by the voice of the Detroit Tigers, Dan Dickerson. Guests include Albert Pujols, Nick Castellanos, J.D. Martinez, Eugenio Su?rez, Aaron Boone, AJ Hinch, and Miguel Cabrera.

The Tigers have announced the following roster moves:
*Designated LHP Chasen Shreve for assignment.
*Reinstated RHP Will Vest from the 15-day injured list.

The Tigers have announced the following roster moves:
*Following last night's game, optioned RHP Trey Wingenter to Triple A Toledo.
*Reinstated RHP Jason Foley from the bereavement list.

I'd venture to say that hasn't happened too much this year.

With his two homers today, Kerry Carpenter became the 17th different Tigers player (25th instance overall) to have a multi-homer game at Fenway Park.
Prior to today, the last Tigers player to do so was Jhonny Peralta on July 30, 2010.

The Tigers have homered now in a season-best eight straight games.

Tigers 6 - Red Sox 2: Carpenter and Torkelson serve up the thump.
Matt Manning put together a solid enough outing, and the heart of the order did a lot of damage in this one.

Would also have to say the greene, vierling, tork, carp part of the batting order is hitting pretty respectable, sandwich a a couple consistent guys around that part of the order, and just maybe...
