Bases loaded no out inning comes back to bite them. Olson has to figure out his homer issues.

The 8th and 9 th inning were dudes. Well thats that. Bases loaded and not get a run was a low spot in this game. Soto kitting two hrs was a bad time. Gee this game was a bummer. Baddoo at bat with them loaded was a bad AB. Satch head on the use of the pinch batters. O well I'm not in the dugout. This game had come back written all over it.

Well at least we got the sac fly ! We have a hard time with runners on third with
Less then 2 outs.

WE have to many .220-230 type batters and to many K swingers as well.

May. 3rd sweep double header with Mets.
May 4th beat Mets
May 5th beat St Louis on the road.
May 6th loss heart breaker to st Louis down 3-1 score 5 in the 7th including Rogers
Grand slam.go up 6-3. Bad fielding and poor bullpen work as cards score 7 in bottom of the sixth. Tigers lose 12-6.

This was the tigers second 5 game winning streak. The first was after the tigers started 2-7 winning first two then a 7
Game losing streak. Tigers win 5 in a row from April 13th to 18th.
April 13th beat Toronto 4-3
April 14th beat SF in a walk off in 11. (7-5)
April 15th beat SF in a walk off in 11 (7-6)
April 16th beat Cleveland in a walk off 4-3
April 16th beat Cleveland 1-0 to sweep doubleheader.

Sadly two losing streaks of 7 which I mentioned above and 9 have killed the two 5 game winning streaks.

Hitting is the issue in my opinion. Tigers have gotten decent enough pitcher even with the injuries to the starters.

Lost 3-0 at Chicago
Lost 2-1 in 10 at Chicago walk off
Lost 6-2 in walkoff at Chicago on a grand slam.
Lost 8-3 at Philadelphia.
Lost 1-0 at Philadelphia.
Lost 3-2 at Philadelphia in a walk off

Beat Atlanta 6-5 in a walkoff
Lost next two at home to Atlanta.


Tigers are 15-13 in one run games after losing to the Padres 5-4.
But we do have three 1-0 losses. Those really bug me.
Tigers are now 14-15 in inter league play.
