Trade deadline 2022 edition

All you're trading is one young guy for another. And based on the players we traded over the years we'd get screwed in a trade.

A player like Skubal would bring back likely 3 top prospects

I'll be pretty disappointed if they don't trade Fulmer and then he walks in the off season.

Not even top 30 in the twins system. Fulmer wasn't worth much on his own. Needed to package him with Soto or Chafin to get anything decent.

I wonder if fat Al just happened to bump into the twins gm at dinner. Lazy fuck

I am OK with not trading Soto given him being under team control for 3 more years.

This team won't be good in any of those 3 years. Holding guys like Boyd and Fulmer when they had peak value when the teams were trash is why we're still in this mess of a rebuild. Obviously we don't have the GM that has the balls to make tough calls.

you are probably right...but they still have 3 years to trade him. Maybe they'll get a new GM who can will get a good return for him :)

Peak value for an all star reliever is a 24 year old pitcher who just got sent back to single A because he got shelled in double A and isn?t even a top 30 prospect for the Twins? Avila got literally nothing back for Grossman and Fulmer. No player that will see the majors ever.

That's about what I would expect for Grossman. I was hoping they might get something a little better for Fulmer

I find it hilarious that san fran was able to do something that detroit couldn't do in 7 years. Trade Matthew Boyd.

And he never even pitched a single inning in their organization

I have a feeling we're stuck with AA. Many more years of poor talent evaluation. AA and Chad need to go but seriously doubt this is going to happen.
