Vs. Rutgers

Rutgers as of last week was 108th in total offense (out of 130). They were 14th in total defense BUT, they've played Northwestern, Temple, Va Tech & Wagner. Those teams are 121st, 76th, 102nd & an FCS team, respectively in Total Offense. They've played one good and one decent team, uofm & wisco. Both put up numbers around their season averages and beat them soundly.

They were trailing by 18 at home in the 4th quarter and needed a blown punt snap for a TD and blown kick catch for another TD to beat a shitty MSU team. They're pretty awful. We're worse, but they suck too.

That?s certainly easier than trying to back up your statement. Is it as hilarious as you always saying the B1G is trash on the uofm board then saying Rutgers isn?t awful bc they?re a mid tier B1G team? F?n hilarious. Maybe do a little research next time. Rutgers is awful.

Rutgers is a mid level big ten team this year that will be in a bowl game. Whether or not the big ten is good or not is irrelevant. There are 14 teams in the conference and they currently have the 5th most wins and have scored the 5th most points. Clearly you're just arguing to argue because this might be the dumbest fight you've had here.

Rutgers sucks. Being in a bowl game doesn't change that - lots of awful teams make bowl games.

They might win 2 more games this year which will make them 4-5 but most likely 3-5 in the B1G and that's WITH getting lucky to beat a shitty MSU team.

All this is unnecessary, all you had to do is watch the game to see that they suck. Losing to RU is embarrassing, there's no way to sugar coat this. It's a clear and obvious statement about the state of MSU football. You can't polish a turd.

Rutgers should be in a revamped Big East with BC, UMass, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, Penn, Villanova, Gettysburg, Widener, Delaware (for the winged helmets), and Drexel. It might have a shot at finishing in the first division.

Emphasis on "might"
