Game 6: Tigers @ Dodgers, April 8th

His ERA has to be about 100. Get him the fuck off the roster.

It was 81 but tonight, 1-out zero runs allowed so it went down.

After watching the play a couple times the blame Coke 98%, Davis 2%.

I think Davis is on the hook for a little more than 2%. He stops that ball, Figgins probably stops at 3rd. But he misread it or something, for a really fast guy he jogged like 5-6 steps before he did the 'oh shit' backhand attempt.

But yeah, Coke cannot get lefties out, and that's inexcusable, so it's mostly on him.

Are you fucking serious? That is all I have to comment on this game. Was watching the game at a friends house and said if he bring in Coke here I'm leaving because I know the outcome already. Got in the car just to hear the hit as I turned the car on. GG

The ball was cutting away from him towards the line. Not sure he could have got to it. Either way I'm not too positive Coke would have got the next guy out unless maybe be was bunting :bat:

No runs on the road. Will that be the Tigers' weakness again this season?

Coke ain't worth a shit we all know,I can accept that.but the way Davis lally-gaged, after the ball went by him.

Again I'll point out our only offense was a long ball. Sure will be nice to see this speed/stolen base based offense if it ever shows up.

Most of us knew Davis is a shitty fielder too. The bigger question is why is Ausmus not playing the splits like he should? Collins should have started last night, or if he was dead set on a RHB for LF then it should have been Castellanos.

For all the talk about how Ausmus was an intelligent baseball guy, I haven't seen much evidence of it yet.

Collins should have started? Based on what? Just because it was a right handed pitcher?

Based on the reason they got Davis was to platoon vs. LHP. Davis cannot hit RHP worth a damn. Against RH starters his career OPS is .638, his career OBP is sub .300 Essentially the same numbers Don Kelly has for his career.

At least with Collins you have split advantage, or even Castellanos would have been a better idea, no worse in the OF than Davis and likely a much better hitter.

I agree with Castellanos as a better RH option, but I think they wanna keep him just at 3rd for the time being.

Haren's last 3 years, righty's have hit him much better. That's probably why no Collins.
