Game 125: Tigers @ Rays, August 21st 2014

A CG 1-hitter loss?!?!?!!? You've got to be kidding me. Thank God I completely missed this game because I probably would have thrown something at my TV if I were watching it at home.

I had to go see the Doctor after work. He fixed me up. I need to go back and see him again !Because what he gave me won't fix what I feel now!

Unreal. Who really wants to see this trash in the playoffs anyways? They're going to get slaughtered...

I feel like it's going to be the World Series vs the Giants all over again except in the opening round.

Yesterday's game was just another example of how badly we need a left handed batter or 2 ...

I was running errands yesterday and forgot the game was being picked up by the MLB Network (game start time was 10:08 am out here in CA). Turned it on in the eighth inning. My neighbors were treated to a barrage of "F" bombs as the Tigers hitting futility was on full display.

Tommy Malone hasn't won a game since June 29th, how much you wanna bet he shuts down the Tigers tonight?

Miggy is clearly playing hurt like last year, and the injuries to his abdomen or core or whatever it is, combined with the ankle have obviously hurt the power in his swing. Not much we can do about it except hope he heals up as quick as possible.

I said it before, but the Tigers need to start giving him more off days in the early part of the season. As good as he is, this is two years in a row he's shown signs of wearing down late in the year.

The way I see it if he couldn't get healthy during this past off-season why would another one matter?
