The Official MICHIGAN vs Utah Score Prediction Thread

Funny when I read yours I thought if it in reverse so I did the same prediction not realizing it

All I needed was an OS kick recovery and a TD for my prediction to ... ahhh forget it.

I think you should rename these threads from predictions to wishes. Michigan is a road underdog and 90% of Michigan fans predict a win. It more of a case of what you want to happen vs what you think will happen.

This is a great point. Really odd that a bunch of Michigan fans would have an optimistic take on Michigan games.

So Sbee actually read every post in this thread.

And M lost by 7 on the road. The spread was 5.5. So, bias aside, predicting a W is not that "unreal."

Wow, someone has way too much time on their hands. Counts the amount of people who picked the wins/losses on here. Sounds like something that's done on RCMB.

I saw bycos post and decided to double check for accuracy

5.5 pts underdog wins 31% of the time, 86% of Michigan fans picked michigan to win. I'd say that's a significant delta

Your team is playing the season opener in a few hours and you are on the M forum counting poster responses on a given thread?

That's not normal.

I've never bet on Michigan losing, even if that's what I thought would happen. I bet a lot of people are like that about their team, even when there's no money involved. Some people make predictions, some people add some optimism, some people post what they'd like to see. Somehow it's a new idea to sbee. "No! The thread's title clearly says PREDICTION!!"

What a maroon.
