Texas at UM

These are just awful sets by us on offense.

Third one in a row. Jb's offense is garbage tonight.

3 points all night between zak and maar.

Nice save, Mo. A win as ugly as sin, but it's a win.

Cannot believe we won with zak scoring 3 and maar scoring 2 points :/

Keane for cmu 40 points .. some of those shots were play ground threes .

Zak's only bucket tonight was his 200th three pointer of his career,.

If you are squeamish or faint of heart, I would highly advise not tuning into the game on Saturday.

I don't know if anyone else here has watched UCLA play, but TJ Leaf, Lo Ball, and Thomas Welsh are going to eat us alive. The good news is we have no one who can guard Isaac Hamilton either. They have six guys averaging double figure points.

I watched a lot of that game and I remember TJ Leaf was someone Michigan was going after. Maybe it was just one game, but I don't remember a dude going after offensive rebounds as much as him. And he's freaking smooth.

UCLA and Virginia (if they are on opposite sides) are my picks to meet up in the finals. Top to bottom, UCLA is the best team in the NCAA.

Leaf and Welsh inside are too much for our bigs to handle. Welsh had 14 points and 8 boards in only 19 minutes against Kentucky. Went 5-7 from the field. He's a legit seven footer and he's also shooting 100% from the FT line this year. I just can't see Wilson and Wagner being able to handle both Leaf and Welsh. Then there's all the other weapons they have to worry about. UCLA is really damn good.

One thing I desperately want to see change is who is running the pick and roll. 95% of the time it's Walton or Irvin. Walton just isn't good in that facet of the game. His size limits his passing lanes for one and he's a poor finisher going to the rim. His strength on the offensive end is spot up shooting.

Let Rahk run the pick and roll. He's 6'4" which opens up some more passing lanes like when we had Darius Morris running point. Morris couldn't shoot past 15-17 feet either, but he was great in the pick and roll game. It seems that Rahk always has to make things happen for himself if he is going to get going on offense. Him and Wagner should be running pick and rolls more than Wagner and Walton.
