Texas at UM

Love the end of that article...Michigan basketball returns home for a 9pm tip-off against Central Arkansas....

Who in the world wants to see that? The season ticket holders in the lower bowl will sit at home again. Game probably won't even be on TV again.

Who schedules these crappers? This has been a problem with JB in the past and he doesn't seem to want to learn. He schedules these 300+ rpi teams. Why? Schedule some MAC squads or something. Try to aim for those 100-175 rpi teams. Generate at least a little bit of interest.

A lot of the season ticket holders are very lame, though. They just renew their tickets in hope that this will be some sort of breakout year. Go to the big big10 games vs OSU or MSU and such. Then they sit at home and leave their seats empty for the other games. Meanwhile, nobody gets to use that ticket.

Yeah, whoever is in charge of scheduling needs a new job. If it's Warde, he needs to take some classes.

Enough with the 9 PM crap. You can start games at 7, hell, even 6:30. Most people get off work at 5 and can make it in time and still have a few hours to enjoy their evening.

No more Houston Baptist, or St. Marys, or any 300 level team. Bring some local MAC teams in, CMU, EMU, Toledo, whoever. Get some good schools from big conferences. And then you have your road trips and the gimmicky tournaments.

Look at the home schedule so far....They planned on home vs Texas and that is it

they had to play the ACC-Big 10 challenge, so that is 2 decent non-con games at home

Marquette, SMU, South Carolina, UCLA...all on the road or neutral court

so basically you get va tech, texas, and a slew of 300+ rpi teams...NO!
