    I dunno , im just looking at his rookie year and last year and to me it seems like he did better in almost every category . And the ones he didnt improve , was pretty much the same . With the exception of the 21 dp's , which is for sure concerning .

    Moneyball is about using saber metrics and using the theories of probability . Just because it worked for 1 year with A's and the with the movie , all the saber geeks came out in full force . I understand that is your way and thats fine , but theres alot more people that dont agree with that way...

    Then why doesnt every team use the moneyball strategy ? Because it doesnt work , thats why . Owners , gm's , managers are constantly around the game and the players so they know who can do what by seeing it .

    He improved last year on almost every stat there is from his rookie year , avoided the dreadful sophomore slump and even improved his fielding . But yea , he is basically useless to us as a bottom of the lineup guy . Makes sense

    I was banned on the other ID , not getting into that tho ....So ok you rely on the statistical data aspect to form your opinions and i rely on actually watching the game and the players , or as you call it the eye test .     Im n ot gonna sit here and try to decide who is better than who , but one thing i do find in favor of Upton over Cespedes( who i absolutely love ) is he has always been called on to be THE MAN wherever he has gone . I think him sliding into this lineup and just being able to relax and play ball...
