Tigers closing in on 2 year deal with Mark Lowe

Several reports are out there that Tigers are close to signing Lowe after Soria turned down a 3yr offer from the Tigers to sign with the Royals. Read a story out of Oakland that Tigers are one of a few teams interested in Brett Lawrie as well. Should be an interesting week in Nashville.

Scherzer throws 2nd No Hitter vs Mets

Throwing error away from a perfect game, also had 17 Ks. So technically he is a bloop single, hit batter, and error away from having 3 perfect games this year. I have never been more wrong when I thought the tigers wouldn't miss him

Tigers Deal Price to Toronto for 3 Lefthanders

Rosenthal and Heyman are reporting a deal to send Price to Toronto is close. Top 20 pitching prospect Daniel Norris is believed to headline the package going back to Detroit.

    Henning vs Price

If any of you are on Twitter I hope you do yourself a favor and check out the exchange between Lynn Henning and David Price, it's hilarious.

    Porcello inks 4yr 82m extension

No way Price is taking less than 30m, Market is crazy

Tigers worth 1.1 billion according to Forbes

Which may seem shocking since they were valued at about 650 million last year but almost every team had huge jumps in value. Tigers come in 13th, just after the Braves and before the Mariners. What is most shocking in Forbes annual report however is that Tigers had operating losses of 20...

    Jacoby Jones Resigns, 4yrs/14 Million

After seeing that I am a little less of a fan of the Tate signing

    Revis to be cut

Schefter is reporting that is Tampa can`t trade him before 4pm Wednesday they will cut him. He has a 16 million dollar cap hit next season and Tampa will get hit with a conditional draft pick by the Jets if he is still on the roster come Thurday as well.

    Trading Suh

I came across a bleacher report article tonight reguarding 5 realistic trade scenarios for the Lions. #1 on the list was trading Suh to Oakland for their 1st round pick and a 5th. Now this if realistic would hinge on Suh being able to sign an extension with Oakland, but considering they have 50...

    Bullpen options

Was hoping the Tigers would take a flier on Andrew Bailey or Joel Hanrahan but it appears Bailey will sign with the Yanks and Hanrahan could return to Boston.

5 Years 75 Million extension for Suh

This is the projection I have read on a couple sites that he would get. So would you sign him to that? Is he worth it? I have a hard time saying yes to both

    Lions hire a QB coach

Jim Bob Cooter, I swear that is his real name too. Has been with Indy, KC, and Denver this past year. Also has an impressive arrest record, puts Joe Cullen to shame

Suh probably signing with Jay-Z`s sports agency

Rumors starting to pop up everywhere, if that is the case his contract demands could get out of hand

    Off/Def Coordinators

From what I have seen so far tonight, it looks like Bill Lazor(OC) and Teryl Austin(DC) are favorites for the two coordinator jobs. I encourage you to look up their resumes, yuck!

This is why Schwartz should`ve been fired after Balt

Could of had an extra week to get in on Lovie and O`brien. Now Lions are stuck looking for that fat drunk girl at last call.

Another reason not to hire Caldwell

He will most likely add Jim Tressel to his staff, possibly even as an offensive cord. UGH!!

    Aqib Talib

I know most fans want to see Denard drafted in the 1st round but I would rather go all out after Talib and draft a WR at 10 like Watkins or Evans. CB`s are just so risky to take that high unless you know they are going to be a sure thing. Watkins and Evans look like they can step right in and...

    Castellanos expectations for 14`

Just curious to see what fans think we can get from him next season. Is it too much to ask for a stat line of .272/.318/.408/.726 with 70 RBI? That is the production the Tigers got out of the 7 spot last year. Most likely where he will be hitting in the order.
