Notable
The Texas Rangers have now won 10 in a row, the fourth-longest streak in club history and the longest since 2010.
The Rangers have a seven-game winning streak at Comerica Park dating back to Aug. 21, 2015. They've also won nine of their last ten games here. During that span, they've outscored the Tigers 63-27.

On Thursday, J.D. Martinez and Victor Martinez both hit home runs against the Orioles, a feat they've now accomplished 16 times. Only two pairs of teammates who shared the same last name have done so more often: Andruw and Chipper Jones (59 times), and Brooks and Frank Robinson (24 times).

Justin Verlander has faced Shin-Soo Choo more often than any other batter on the Rangers and has held him to a .224 average (13-for-58). Choo has two home runs but has struck out 24 times.
Mike Napoli has fared better, going 11-for-38 with three home runs.
Rougned Odor (0-for-11) is still looking for his first career hit against Verlander.

Griffin has generally fared well against Tigers hitters, although the big exception is Miguel Cabrera, who is expected to return today. Cabrera is 6-for-14 with two home runs in his career against Griffin.

Long at bat for Kinsler chases low,

Avila is in the zone he crushed that one deep to right,

Miggy feels good KaBoom to right center,

JD Martinez makes it 3 Home runs in a row deep to right center!!

Wow, Tigers lead 3 - 0,

Tigers Batters getting runs early for JV.

Nice, Kinsler and Tigers is a shift and odor lines out right at him in shallow right.

Nice play by McCann on the foul, Tigers flashing some early leather,

Keep it up,

JV just 24 pitches,

Holy shit! McCann hasn't done a lot right this year, but that was one hell of a play!!!

That sky high pop fly to shallow center might have gone twice as high as it did to Collins.

Kinsler liner past odor at second,

Avila with a low liner short hops past odor and Kinsler to third,

Miggy comeback to pitcher, throws to first and Kinsler scores Miggy with another RBI.
