I've hardly heard his name this spring with all the outfield hoopla and 5th starter debates. He's quietly putting together a nice spring hitting just over .300 and bloated .422 OBP. The slugging is down a little bit giving him a still solid .830 OPS. Either way this is a good sign with opening day around the corner. If him and Peralta return to 2011 form, the Tigers could actually score 1000 runs this year. This team looks a hell of a lot better than the 08' squad that was predicted to do the same thing. Then you factor in the pitching this year compared to then and it really looks like a 100 win team. Can't wait to get it started go Tigers!!
