Get StartedThey should stay, but I don't really care.
sounds like they voted it down; they'll remain in the UK.
...
Most of the proletarian don't even consider themselves even to be part of Europe.
"Ow cain we be poit o' Europe, myte? - We'e are oin foi'in oiland."
Too bad. They could have had their own Independence Day with fireworks.
It's kinda that way with stupid people everywhere. Here in Texas, only the really dumb people (granted there are more here than elsewhere) honestly believe they'd be better off if they seceded.
they already have Guy Fawkes day. British people are weird.
Not enough. They need fireworks, and they need to take the day off to drink beer and grill hotdogs and hamburgers and decorate everything in red, white, and blue.
Wouldn't it be cool if the official departure from the EU occurred on the Fourth of July?
I could see the dumbass Brits pushing for BREXIT plagiarizing the declaration of independence word-for-word, and angrily (& drunkenly) denying it.
"Look, you even forgot to change the reference to "we the representatives of the United States of America" here."
"OY, how bout you right piss off there, fookin' buggah!?"
They really never were in the EU.
Not really.
They kept their own money - pansy alliance from the get go.

They are part of the EU, just not part of the common currency or the Eurozone. But to your point, they weren't a good fit and got little benefit from it.
They would be smart to leave because otherwise they will ultimately have to give up British Common Law and adopt whatever legal system the EU ultimately forces onto it's member states as well as their own currency.
Plus they would have to, eventually, probably have to give up driving on the stupid wrong side of the road.
