Can't win every draft

Wings I still think make great picks overall. Just went back and looked at the 2007 draft though. Some hindsight regret in that one.

Wings picked Brendan Smith about 10 or so spots ahead of PK Subban. That hurts.

Wings also missed numerous shots at Jamie Benn who was picked by Dallas in the 5th round. Seems they are only good at the late round Europeans.

yikes that does hurt missing out on those players. Although it look's like Subban and the Canadians are pretty soft verses Tampa Bay.. Down 2-0 and I think they lost all 4 or 5 games verses them this year. Frustrating we are not still playing..

Yeah, Habs are yet to win this year vs Lightning which is why they and their fans were rooting for Wings to win.
