Sam Martin is a top 3 punter... of all time.
All hail the Punt God.
Sam Martin may have yet to earn himself a Pro Bowl nod, but he is certainly making his impact in the NFL record books. In his four-year career, he is averaging 46.9 yards per punt, which is good for third-best in NFL history:
Random punter research: Sam Martin ranks t-3rd all-time in yards per punt at 46.9. Higher than Marquette King.
He is tied with current Rams punter (and three-time Pro Bowler) Johnny Hekker and just slightly below Thomas Morstead (47.0) and Shane Lechler (47.5).
