Detroit Tigers Minor League Notes

https://www.mlb.com/tigers/news/top-prospect-performers-for-wednesday-april-10
Here's a look Wednesday's top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Tigers: Matt Manning, RHP (No. 2, MLB No. 51) -- 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 10 K (Double-A Erie)
Manning retired the first 14 batters of the game before finally allowing a two-out single in the fifth inning. It was the lone baserunner allowed by the 2016 first-rounder, who struck out 10 en route to his second win in as many starts for the SeaWolves. He's given up just one hit in both starts while racking up 15 strikeouts in 12 innings.

Bless You Boys Tigers Blog Podcast Weekend Edition: An early look at the Tigers? farm with Chris Brown. 66 minutes.
A special edition of the BYB podcast focused on the Tigers top prospects.

While the Minor League Tracker podcast is on a brief hiatus, BYB Podcast host Brandon Day pinch hits with a way too early look at the Tigers? farm system.

Today we are joined by friend of the site Chris Brown, who writes about prospects and the Tigers farm system for the long-running site, Tigstown.
He is also the co-host of the Tigers SRD podcast alongside Roger Martin,
and has recently launched the Locked On Tigers Podcast, a compact daily podcast hitting on all the Tigers news of the day.

It is, of course, too early to draw even vague conclusions about the Tigers? farm system this year. However, the top starting pitching prospects, sans Franklin Perez, are off to a heck of a good start.
We?ll check in on a night of blown saves throughout the system and look at a few of the better relief prospects the Tigers have.
Finally, we look at some of the position players, and consider the Tigers efforts to improve in player development versus how much of improvement is simply on the players themselves. We also wonder at Will Rhymes, Driector of Player Development, Los Angeles Dodgers. Huh?

Minor League suspensions:
Two Tigers Minor League players were suspended Friday with violations of the Minor League drug prevention and treatment program. Class A Connecticut catcher Moises Nunez and Rookie-level Gulf Coast League pitcher Richard Terrero received 25-game suspensions, which will begin at the start of their clubs’ respective seasons this summer.
