Road To Detroit Podcast Episode 6: Bringing The Funk. 50 minutes.
Detroit Tigers Podcast

Catching up with the Tigers AAA Affiliate, the Toledo Mud Hens. Featuring interviews with pitcher Kyle Funkhouser, who's knocking on the door of the big leagues; longtime voice of the Mud Hens, Jim Weber; and MLB.com Tigers beat writer, Jason Beck. Plus, a little bit of way-too-early-but-still-fun hype on 1st round pick Riley Greene's pro debut.

There are 29 minor leaguers with 20+ steals, among them only Deatherage and Cole Brannen (21SB, .272 OBP) have a sub-.300 OBP

Deatherage ranks 2nd in the minors in SB per times on base (39.2%). Nick Heath is first at 48.9%

With two SB yesterday, including a steal of home, Brock Deatherage now has 29 SB on the year -- with a .273 OBP.

There are 586 minor leaguers with at least 250 PAs this year, and 528 of them have walked at least 15 times. Six who haven't: That's right, they are Tigers.
Cole Peterson (14BB)
Jose Azocar (14BB)
Ulrich Bojarski (13BB)
Brock Deatherage (12BB)
Derek Hill (12BB)
Victor Reyes (10BB)
