Detroit Tigers Minor League Notes

RAPID FIRE.
Totally Tigers

It continues to be a year of uncertainty given the continuing pandemic. What will happen to the 2021 season? Will fans be allowed in the stands and if so, how many?

The Tigers somehow have to mesh the issues created by Covid and continue their rebuild at the same time. Where will they put their focus during this off-season?

Today, Holly and Kurt are tackling the Tigers? priorities during this off-season. Five questions, 10 answers and only 2 sentences each allowed for each question. As always, their answers aren?t shared until publication.

Let?s see what they have to say?.
Excluding the concerns raised by the pandemic (such as fans in the stands, travel, teams played, etc.), what do you believe are the 5 most important stories surrounding the Tigers and/or MLB that need to be addressed before spring training starts? Rank them in order from most important to least.

After batting .220 and slugging .290 in his first taste of the Major Leagues, Isaac Paredes is showing this offseason that he can do damage at the plate.

The Tigers? No. 6 prospect slashed .542/.577/1.000 this past week, recording four multihit performances while hitting safely in all six games for Venados de Mazatl?n in Mexico. He tallied at least one extra-base hit in all six contests to finish the week with nine extra-base hits (8 2B, 1 HR).

Overall, the 21-year-old infielder has been one of the Mexican winter league?s top players and ranks among the circuit leaders in batting (.390, 2nd), slugging (.627, 4th), OPS (1.095, 1st) and extra-base hits (20, tied-2nd).
