Last year has been hard on these great hall of fame players. Rest in peace home run champ.

Glad that I saw him hit a home run in person in 1971 in Detroit. Upper-deck RF seats. His first ASG HR.

I never saw him in person but a do remember home run 715. I remember watching it, weather it was live or tape relay etc. I don't know (I was only 8) but was awesome nonetheless. True home run king.

I was working and got emails and texts messages, What a great Baseball Player and another just a great person to everyone.

What he went through while closing in on Babe Ruth's all-time record was just disgraceful but he got through it with the class he always carried himself with.

This Class and Gentlemanly Sportsmanship showed when Bonds broke Hank's record and on the video screen Hank Congratulated the ped using Barry.

Something that is Amazing about Hank Aaron's numbers. Take away his Home runs and He still had over 3,000 Hits.

So now for Me and a few other old timers here, all the great 1950's 1960's to early 1970's Hall of Fame Great Outfielders Aaron, Kaline, Frank Robinson, Clemente, Mantle are all gone. Only Willie Mays is left among that Golden era Pantheon of Greats.

Rest In Peace Hank.
