Garbage performance. Islanders handed the game to the Wings in the first two minutes and they handed it right back. Mrazek was absolute trash today.

Detroit still has a game in hand compared to Boston though.

Detroit still has the best outlook going forward. They also play each of those teams within the next 4 games, and finish the season with 2 of last 3 games vs Carolina.

They will be fine in terms of being in the playoffs. I'm surprised Boston has been able to turn things around since they appeared to be in a free fall.
