I had never heard of him either, but I'm sure I've heard him play.


I saw "Herbie Hancock" was trending on twitter yesterday, and I was "OH NO" but then I realized it was only because people were quoting Herbie's tributes to Wayne Shorter.


He said Wayne was the only person to bring music to Miles Davis and not get it changed. that's a pretty big compliment, from Herbie
