THE SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

The Saturday Survey offers another way for readers to weigh in on a relevant topic. So here is a poll to gauge the pulse of our baseball-lovin? peeps.
Today, it?s round 2 of the cheating scandal in baseball. This time we address the Boston Red Sox.
As always, we welcome your comments, so please vote and then submit your reasons (4 sentences max!) for how you voted in the usual comment box. Don?t forget to come back later and view the results!

This past week, MLB announced their decision about the Boston Red Sox cheating scandal. Alex Cora, their now ex-manager, has been banned from baseball for this year but credited to his role with Houston, not Boston. A video technician, implicated in another Red Sox cheating scandal (the Apple Watch incident), was suspended for this year as well and banned from the video booth for another. No other members of the organization, including Dave Dombrowski, who was in charge, were penalized. The Red Sox will also lose one second round draft pick.

Please participate in the poll in order to share where you stand on MLB?s decision on the Red Sox cheating scandal.

What do you think of MLB?s decision?
1. Thorough and fair.

2. Not enough evidence to prove cheating.

3. More punishment should have been handed out.

4. Decision reeks to high heaven.

5. Not sure.

6. Other.

Vote.

WINDOW DRESSING.
Totally Tigers

It was supposed to be the second shoe to drop. The second investigation into yet another team, another World Series title and another cheating scandal.

Except instead of a bang, it was a whimper. Four months, multiple delays, extended investigations and now this. A laughable 3-page report that only slightly punishes a single Red Sox employee, and underling at that, for what amounts to one year.

That?ll teach those Red Sox to never cheat again!

Could the powers that be within the MLB Commissioner?s Office have done anything less effective?

It doesn?t appear that way. Let?s recap what happened....
