?Don?t Fear the Reaper? not eligible for consideration.

1. Everyday People ? Sly and the Family Stone
2. Taxman ? The Beatles
3. When Johnny Strikes up the Band ? Warren Zevon

Feel free to ?ring? in.

Huh... I usually don't notice it. I had to look up a list of songs that have cowbell.

I'd go with...

Born on the Bayou - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Funk #49 - James Gang
Stone Free - Jimi Hendrix Experience

a cheer isn't really a song though, so the Cowbell Cheer doesn't count.

I like it a lot though. it's extremely catchy

The SNL skit was ruined for me by this really annoying guy I had to work with once, who kept quoting it. this was the summer of '04, when i assume it came out (I stopped watching SNL in the 90's)

He also maintained the only way to get ahead in the modern workplace was to whine and complain until you got what you wanted, and was OKAY with this. He often did whine and complain.

The guy playing the Cowbell Cheer has absolutely zero talent.

I forget the song title at the moment but Foghat had a song I liked with a cowbell.

Oh and how could I forget Nazareth. It starts with a cowbell. Great music.
