Tigers vs. astros 4-15-16 Game 9

Come on boys some one hit a wall 2 or 3 run shot. Time for some Dickerson as I go to the store .

Just couldn't square keuchel up all night long, those slow benders aren't easy to square maybe they'll take him out and the tigers will have a shot in the 9th with the 3-4-5 if they can hold it at one

Got to get a run here. Can not lose this game 1-0! I know Pelfrey did not pitch a great game but can not waist a start he gives up only one run!

One guy there is no concern over. It's been a week and a half.

He's finally heathy again though and had a full regular spring for the first time in two years. His timing looks off a hair fouling off a lot, missing or pounding into ground. He'll be fine but his days of 100 ribs might be over, shit happens age and injuries catch up to all eventually

Pelfrey deserved nothing he's damn fortunate he only gave up 1 effectively not impressive lol keuchel was lights out, this game was all Dallas keuchel hats off to him tigers don't hit off speeder lefties, offense will return tomorrow it's all good

For 28 MILLION he should be doing better than 100 rbi's, or this is going to turn into the mother of bad contracts! BTW he hit .340 in the spring.

Which is why the slow start is a little surprising he seemed 100% ready to go this year with the bat, then timing goes off..shit happens I guess he's more human than he used to be. Lol

You get paid in baseball for what you've done. Not what you will do. It's just how it is.

Miggy should still be able to hit .300 hit 25-30 hrs and 100 rbis. I have no doubt about that.

STREAKS AND STATS:
Mike Pelfrey was one of seven qualified AL pitchers with a ground ball ratio above 50 percent in 2015. Keuchel led the league with a whopping 61.7 percent ground ball ratio.

The Tigers' league leading offense failed to score four runs for the first time this season.

J.D. Martinez has safely reached base in all nine Tigers games this season.

Ian Kinsler has hit safely in eight of the Tigers' first nine games this year. He has multiple hits in five games after leading the major leagues with 61 multi hit games last season.

Justin Upton has struck out at least once in every game this season.

Have a good 2-3 days and bam, over .300. He won a batting title, when being hurt. Not worried about Miggy until it's time too. And 9 games in, not the time. Not many his age keep on hitting 32 home runs. That's too much to ask..
