Officially, Justin Upton went on bereavement list Thursday, which makes him eligible to return as soon as Sunday.
Daniel Norris threw a bullpen session today for first time since oblique strain. He let a few pitches go, felt no restrictions.
Jordan Zimmermann played catch today for first time since going on DL with neck strain, felt fine. He also got adjustment from chiropractor.
Neither Zimmermann nor Norris will be ready this turn. Both could have a rehab start to be ready.
Thus, Matt Boyd and Anibal Sanchez slated to start first two games against Twins next Monday-Tuesday.

Verlander with 9 Strikeouts so far through 5 innings all swinging strike threes!!!

Moy? is brutal out there and may have cost the Tigers this game. Wtf?

Good God, Moya sucks in rightfield.
Somewhere in Comerica Park, Al Kaline reaches for his aspirin bottle.

I mean seriously that was one of the worst whiffs I've ever seen a major league outfielder make..just disgusting

Sometimes I wonder if this kid could handle catching a beach ball out there in right. What an absolute disgrace.

Justin Verlander has struck out 10-or-more batters for the 4th time this season and 33rd time in his career (last, 5/24/16 vs. PHI).

Bleeeeh Miggy sure hasn't been very clutch this year, swung at ball four twice

SHIT, Miggy swings at ball 4 and k's,

bases still loaded for Victor,

a squib grounder and they score 2 runs,

Tigers lead 4 - 2,

Miguel Cabrera now 0-for-9 with 5 Ks with bases loaded in 2016 after Soria strikes him out in 7th.
