New series started last weekend. I thought episode 1 was pretty decent. Compiling characters. The world is on a totally different timeline then our world. So there is decent world building..

Loved the graphic novel and I loved the movie. Looking forward to the show, I'll probably wait until I'm done with my current shows though.

Never read the graphic novels or the comics or whatever they are.

There doesn?t seem to be the same characters as there were in the movie.

I imagine the characters would/will differ quite a bit. From what I gather, the TV series is sort of a direct sequel to the end of the graphic novels. Just going off of that, there has got to be new blood.

The TV series 100% ignores the movie. I know that for a fact.
