The best part it was going wide and perfectly deflected off the goalies stick right off the post.

Amazing what he can do when motivated against a sub-NHL level team.

Lets hope he can do the same in the game against the US.
 
Germany has 5 suits behind the bench. That is a lot of coaches. Man I love the wide open ice rink. Man I wish the nhl would go to a bigger rink.

Me, too. We'd see a lot more flow and fewer whistles. Having played on both surfaces, the extra 15 feet creates a disproportionally larget amount of skating room. One change I'd anticipate is a more passive PK. JIMO.
 
It would make those fast guys even more effective. AA on International ice, wowza.

Mantha was tied for 5th in scoring at 14 with Stone and Frolik. Tied for 2nd with goals. Chance he could have been first if he didn't miss a game due to suspension (hit to head).
