Jung had a nice at bat before Javy's first home run. Long at bat fighting off some good pitches before he got hit. Even though I watched the replay a couple times I still couldn't see where he got hit.

Sparky Anderson once said “You can’t tell anything about a baseball team until 40 games have been played.”
The Tigers now have played 42.

Best in the American League. Second best in all of MLB (through Monday’s games).
They have won 9 series and lost 4, having played a mix of both good, average and bad teams. Out of those 4, only the Dodgers are a tough team. The others are playing around .500.
After a series where they destroyed MLB-worst Colorado Rockies, the Tigers, in turn, were man-handled by the Texas Rangers.
However, Texas, despite their record, is believed to have 1 of MLB’s best starting rotations.

Now that we’ve hit Sparky’s milestone for evaluation, how good is this Tigers team?
Are they the dominant team we’ve been seeing or is it simply too early to judge? Will this team come down to earth?
