Out camping and my friend was texting me play by play and he was saying the strike zone was border line atrocious for megan and he said her pitch count was so much higher then the lsu girls. Idk..hope megan does not get fatigued?

Some of this may be a factor of the strike zone frame that ESPN2 is projecting onscreen. It may have been misleading. Betsa did throw a lot of pitches, more than the LSU pitcher, and she pitched all 7 innings. But I don't think it was because of the strike zone. I think it was more that LSU was not swinging as early in the count as Michigan. Betsa had quite a few KOs and I didn't get the impression that the zone was different for each team.

Ok. he did say we were very aggressive.

Granted I have not followed the team all that closely...but Betsa concerns me in big games. Didn't she struggle pretty badly last year in the WS? It seems like it was Wagner that really held down the fort.

Team needs to settle down. Hope the bats are hitting this game, they are gonna need to get some runs from the start, can't wait until the 5th or 6th inning to get going.

I just tweeted essentially the same thing

I'm having flashbacks to other wows games that we didn't win

OU playing for 29th straight win and they scare me - powerhouse youth

What I was going to post.

Sloppy ass start and we got to get some back right here right now.

Yeah, Betsa concerns me too. But Wagner is gone and Betsa is the ace now. Sara D. has been getting dinged lately. I guess the last time these teams met earlier in the season it was a slugfest, but it went in Michigan's favor. Hope it will be the same result, except OK doesn't get anymore hits or runs.

Oh great! Two up two out, and Romo strikes out. Not good. At least get the bat on the ball.

Actually I think she was safe. Throw was in time but her foot looked like it got the bag before the tag was applied.

Speaking of the Romero parents and Michigan softball-perhaps hutches greatest strength is she gets parents to buy into Michigan.

Probably her best asset is actually parents of players who used to play for Michigan from Southern California who work at recruiting current high school stars in Southern California.

I've gone to the games at the Fullerton tournament and I've seen it with my own eyes.

Anyways it looks like we might have something going on here.
