Friday night Big 10 games are coming

Seems that all the teams could decline like M and OSU have? So to put this terrible idea out of our misery?

OSU said they were fine with it

Michigan and Penn St are the only 2 that don't want to do it.

Delaney doesn't give a shit about the players, students or fans - this is solely about the TV contract and putting shitty teams from big markets like Rutgers and Maryland on TV Fridays. Attendance will be horrible and the games will suck and anybody with a social life or family won't be watching anyways.

Michigan came from behind to beat Maryland on the road led by John Navarre on a Friday night in 2004. On a trick play Navarre and caught a touchdown pass.

Minnesota.

This was only on a Friday because of the shared stadium and conflict with ALCS schedule.

EDIT: 2003 I guess.

as noted that was actually the Minnesota game.

and come to think of it, I had a great night that night.

Got to "pre-game" at home while watching an actual live Michigan game, which fired us up. Of course it helped that the game involved the largest comeback in Michigan history, and a win.

now that I have mouths to feed at home and more responsibility at work, Friday night doesn't involve heavy partying and me doing whatever I want, so I think a Friday night game is a bad idea. I like having time on Saturday. it's the only damn time all week I get to sit on the couch and drink beer.

I miss the maize pants on road unis. Still getting used to the all white look.

Minnesota was actually ranked back then too. Hard to fathom haha

I had forgotten Minnesota was 6-0 going into the this game. The double pass to Navarre was so great .

John Navarre had guaranteed victory in this game, he said they would win and go on to win the big 10 title. It didn't look like he was going to live up to his word for most of this game, but then that happened and they did go on to win the big 10 title.

That's when they had the two-headed monster of Barber and Maroney. Abdul-Khaliq also tore us apart on the ground that day. We gave up 424 rushing yards.

They ended up a solid 10-3 in 2003.

I went to CU v UCLA last night ...fun times and Buffs go to 7-2 on the year, losing only at M and SC

Chris Perry was a monster in that game. I was at a high school game that night and heard Michigan was down by 24 or so. Then got home and saw they won and couldn't believe it until I watched it the next day.
