Get StartedYou and me both Vic. I developed bursitis in my left heel last Sunday. Managed to make it through the week using ice and crutches, but this weekend I am completely off my feet.
GO BLUE!
Doc found a blood clot in my calf yesterday. Went to bed TH fine but woke up with swelling and some pain. On meds and leg on ice ..thank goodness for a full slate of football on TV.
Add me to the list of those with health problems. For the last three months I've been dealing with some kind of neurological issue apparently caused by an immune system gone a little haywire, and the symptoms are just vague enough that my doctor doesn't know if I should be treated for it or not right now. On weekends I'm pretty much confined to the couch.
I'm sorry. I wish you the best.
I've always liked your Emerson sig.
Thanks, to both parts of your statement.
For the most part, I'm fine. I just can't move at my normal pace or else my leg starts tingling, and if the tingling gets bad enough, my entire lower torso feels like it's in a vise grip for several seconds. It sucks, but it could be a hell of a lot worse.
. . .sounds like the kinda thing you might want to see a couple different doctors for.
i mean go see a couple different specialists (eg different neurologists at different hospitals).
you might luck out and find a doctor who has encountered that condition before.
I'm going to the Cleveland Clinic at some point, after my other tests are done.
I have (my neurologist is the one who isn't sure if I should be treated).
Between my primary care physician and my neurologist, I have undergone 3 sets of blood tests, 3 MRIs, and a lumbar puncture, and I will be going back for a fourth MRI and an EMG just to rule out all other possibilities. Needless to say it's been an eventful 3 months.
Grandpa MichChamp was just there (for a preliminary exam prior to heart surgery). I heard the facilities are amazing.
Jeez, sounds terrible. A lumbar puncture? Yikes! I got nothin to complain about.
