Go Blue - It's GameDay!!!!

Yeah, I'm just pretty bored ...can't really drink and waiting for the meds to really start helping. Could definitely be worse ...best luck tsume

Thanks. Hope you get better, too. Blood clots can be a scary and dangerous thing sometimes.

It didn't help that the area of my spine they needed to get to is narrower than in most people, so the procedure took longer. They give you injections to numb the area, but that doesn't mean crap once the needle goes deeper. It wasn't the most painful thing I've ever experienced, but I don't ever want to get another one. I also got a nasty headache complete with sore neck, nausea, and tinnitus over 3 days following the lumbar puncture (it's not unusual to get all of those symptoms after getting one).

Man, I hope it turns out to be nothing and resolves quickly.

I'm hoping so, since the medication I'm taking for the numbing and tightness isn't working so far despite my doctor comstantly upping the dosage.

Despite all of this, I'm not going to complain too much. Given all the horrible diseases out there, I consider myself very fortunate.
