M-blog report on Speight

Whoa. Harbaugh said he was day to day. I guess we'll see.

Yes. I've seen it on twitter, also.

Seems Harbaugh would've said this at the press conference, but I guess that is him being sneaky or he didn't know this morning

He usually tells if an injury is long-term or short-term.

I think Wilton's done a wonderful job of doing what he needs to do in terms of leading the offense, making the big throw on occasion and being elusive in the pocket for a guy his size. But the battle between him and O'Korn came down to basically the last day for a reason. They are both relatively equal. And while O'Korn is coming into this season cold, he's still a veteran and has done plenty of traveling at Houston.

At this point, open up the play book for him and see what he can handle. He's not a true freshman. This is probably the opportunity he's been dreaming of.

I know Wilton has been serviceable this season and I hate to see a kid get hurt, but I can't be the only one that feels like he's left something to be desired more than a few times this season. Right?

A bit inconsistent with accuracy but he's been much better than any of us expected.

My hope is that O'Korn brings something new to the offense. Harbaugh needs to stop with Smith, though. The kid is tough, but he leaves a lot of yards because he has too little quickness and hesitates when blocking is poor. That safety was the game changer, IMO.

Our passing game was the true game changer. Safety was awful, but we left three TDs on the field. Safety really shouldn't have mattered at the end of the game.

Darboh was roasting their DBs and he ended up with one catch for 5 yards.

Yeah, I think he's going to bring a new dimension to the offense. And again, he's not a rookie being thrown into the mix. Let's be honest, this team has been padding a ton of stats from horrible competition. O'Korn from start to finish would likely have similar stats.

If the people around here were saying that M had no shot against OSU after seeing the Iowa game, why would this change anything? If anything, O'Korn might actually give you hope for OSU.

My only concern about okorn is turnovers and ability to shake off tackles. Speight held the ball too long many times, but there were at least 6 or 7 times that he shook a sack and made a huge play.

God, what if Harbaugh goes with the Senior Shane morris? Kill me.

That's kinda my point. We knew what the offense was with Speight, O'Korn seems to have more upside with athleticism, albeit with higher risk as well.

Maybe we'll get lucky. If "We ain't come to play school" can win a national title by throwing a bunch of 50-50 balls that his receivers catch every ****ing time, maybe O'Korn can get away with a few passes into traffic.

Why? It's a little unfair to judge that is based on the shit he had to endure under Hoke, the system that saw regression from every single QB that saw playing time.

A lot of conflicting reports. Some say he's out Saturday, some say day to day, and another says he's out all year.

Harbaugh is the ine saying day to day, game day decision and o'korn and Morris taking reps

Mgoblog reporting collarbone from a source

I expect Harbaugh to repeat his line tonight at radio show

If I wasn't concerned about osu game, More so now with little actual game experience with our plays for o'korn and Morris
Speight was decent when under attack, not sure what to expect with the other two

And IU comes first. Might get a better feel For them and connection to receivers

PS. Our coaches and payers need to be more inspired in Columbus
