Houston over Louisville 31-0 in 2nd quarter

I knew they were overrated. glad they got clobbered.

someone post a pic of Bobby P. looking like a dumbass in his neck brace. that always cracks me up.

allegedly Louisville resorted to some shenanigans (they cheated by spying on or stealing Wake's playbook) to beat Wake Forest last week. link.

If Washington were to lose, then there is still a chance we can get in even with a loss to OSU. It would require OSU beating Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship.

Obviously we would have to be competitive against OSU. Can't have another shit show.

This scenario I was also thinking of. But it will require a penn state loss also.

M will win out to the CFB playoff. That's my story and I'm owning it.

That was the same sentiment I heard from a lifelong MICHIGAN fan and A2 townie minutes after the Iowa loss. He called the loss the catalyst to go now win it all...

As for the playoff picture, a lot of the CU fans here are salty that M didn't drop and some of the Oklahoma and Nebraska losers made comments too. I told them if MICHIGAN wins out, we win the national title and all of it is moot because we play #2 osu next weekend. And ...that CU at #10 is one of three Top 10 teams MICHIGAN has beaten ...no other Top 10 team can make that claim. Not even the almighty Alabama.

If Washington loses then there will be chaos. Probably choosing among 6 or 7 2-loss teams for one final spot, assuming Bama, Clemson, and UM-OSU winner are the other 3.

If Colorado wins out over WSU and Utah the next two weeks and advances to the P12 Title Game and beats Washington, they would likely be that 4th team over the B12 teams like OU, Okie St and WVU

Sadly we are not making final four with two losses. That Iowa lose really just hurts badly damn it. Jim damn it all no margin for error now..wish the playoff was 6 to 8 teams . Because then we would be a lock I think as long as o$u loss was close.

As it stands now Michigan has to win the next two games and the Big Ten championship game to get into the college

The Iowa lost makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. If Michigan had won that game they would still have to win the next two games and the Big Ten championship game to get into the college football playoffs.

As it stands now, nothing is different.

I predict that no team gets in without having won its conference championship.

Agreed. The Iowa loss is meaningless because we play osu and because only Alabama (presumably) will be undefeated. The only real crime would be psu backing into the B10 Champ Game if ohio were to beat us.

And look at how osu responded to the psu loss ....the team has been firing on all cylinders since. In the NFL, you almost have to lose a few games somewhere in Weeks 11-14 to refocus for the playoff run.

I like it - MICHIGAN wins out and we win the National Title. Win out the BigTen regular season and play in the B10 CG and it's all under control of the team and program.
