There may be only 9 or 10 of us who care at all, but here is the unofficial thread if anybody wants to discuss the bowls.

The New Mexico State Lobos start things off with a win over the Texas San Antonio Road Runners.

San Diego State appears to be on its way to a bit of an upset over Houston in the 4th quarter currently.

Appy State and Toledo late in the 1st quarter tied at 7; Arkansas State with a touchdown lead early in the first over UCF.

The bowl pickem game I do every year is harder and harder. I know less and less about these teams due their total mediocrity and the ridiculous number of bowl games (over 40 I believe). Ranking them by confidence is an absolute guessing game.

I don't see a good showing likely from the big ten. I think Michigan, OSU, Wisconsin and Maryland all win, but northwestern, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, penn state lose. I have Bama over OSU for the title.

Have you never done the Pick'ems games b311j has on this board?

Other Spartans have played before.

Unfortunately no, I'm pissed I missed out now. Noted for next year, maybe my Spartans will squeak out 6 wins to make the bowl season worth watching for me again.

There's a regular season pick'ems b311j runs every year too. It's not confidence points; it's does the favorite cover the spread or not.

The games played on are games that include B1G teams and games that include a Top 25 team.

The games are on yahoo sports.

Too much good basketball to worry about garbage bowls.

Thats blasphemy

**** all basketball until ALL football has completed. Basketball means nothing until March.

I thought I just caught Toledo getting ****ed by the refs. Did anyone catch the field goal that would have tied the game? It looked good to me

Yeah watching the Beano Gas Bloat Bowl over UNC vs UK today would have been so great...

Yes, it would
Michigan's game today plus G'town vs Cuse, UNC vs UK, Purdue vs NDSucks, IU vs Butler, Arizona vs Texas A&M, Wake vs Xavier, and Oral Roberts vs Creighton were all 1 billion times better than watching any of the bowl games today.

Well there are 10 guys on this board who are playing the Bowl Pick 'ems.

That's primarily who this thread is for.

I'm going to have to look off this board to see when Michigan is playing hoops going forward, I guess; there's almost always a game thread here for each game; yet for some reason nobody even bothered to start a game thread for today's 50 point blowout.

All those other basketball games you listed, fine if you like; for me, they're not Michigan, and I don't have any of those games in a pick'ems game, so ****'em.

I agree with this times x1000

I watch a lot for bowl games. I wish that most were more competitive, but I like watching them.

App st and toledo game was good tonight. Thought the kicker clearly missed the FG, not sure why the coach allowed the delay of game penelty. Toledo had a t.o. and appeared they wanted to go for it on 4th down. No reason to take that penelty.

I'm one of the guys doing the pick em. I'm still not going to waste my time watching terrible bowl games. There are about 6 or 7 worth watching every year. The other 35+ are about as riveting as watching that stupid fireplace video on Netflix.

I just caught the replay on the field goal. That was Toledo that missed it, right? Regardless of who it was, it looked good to me. It looked like it went over the upright.

It looked like it missed to me. Serves them right. They should've went for it on 4th and barely 2. That is what happens when you don't play to win.

It definitely looked like it would have been good had the kicker been 5 yards closer.
